Shared Decision Making Committee

Purpose


The Shared Decision-Making Committee is an advisory group to the principal.  The committee is composed of classroom teachers, other professional staff, parents, community and business members. The purpose of the committee is to set goals and measureable objectives related to student achievement, develop the School Improvement Plan, and advise the principal on policies and procedures.  Decisions are reached by consensus. However, the principal has the authority to make the final decision on all matters.  

Meetings are held throughout the year and minutes are distributed to all parents and interested community members.
