The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes – and through nearly a century of experience, knows – that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. The BSA is serving nearly 4.7 million young people between 7 and 20 years of age with more than 300 councils throughout the United States and its territories.
On Sunday, April 26th the pack will be celebrating their annual Pinewood Derby at Travis Elementary. Sign in begins at 1pm with races to start at 2pm. This is a perfect way to introduce your son and family to scouting. Come enjoy refreshments and find out more about Boy Scouts of America.
