Early robotics is a thrilling introduction to creative thought and practical application through a medium that every child understands, LEGOS.
LEGO® Education provides complete learning solutions which cover important curriculum areas while stimulating creativity, problem-solving and team-working skills. Solutions are based on a hands-on learning approach that actively involves students in their own learning process.
For early year's we focus primarily on helping youngsters to develop their creative, social and expressive skills, as well as encouraging them to develop a general knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Our focus is on Science, Technology, Design, Engineering and Mathematics. |

Mr. Schaff's Robotics Team dominated at the regional Early Robotics competition at Hogg Middle School in early December. Each of his five teams made the semi-finals, producing a very close second for the overall scoring.
Mr. Schaff, our technology instructor and Robotics Coach, continues to introduce young Harvard engineers to the hands-on challenge of early Robotics missions.

| In the robot game teams design, build, program, and test autonomous robots that must perform a series of tasks, or missions. In the project, teams conduct research and create a technological or engineering solution to an aspect of the challenge and present that solution. |
