Students
Harvard Students are Global Thinkers
The students that attend Harvard Elementary School are preparing themselves for the future. They are becoming internationally-minded global citizens that care about each other, the community and the environment. Through the IB Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) they are exposed to a new way of thinking about the world in general. Over the past three years, they have taken part in several action projects such as building a school in Kenya, partnering with other schools to provide a well for fresh drinking water at a school in Uganda, providing canned goods to a neighborhood food bank, and collecting nearly 1,000 pairs of shoes to help the less fortunate around the world. We are also very proud of our students academic accomplishments. The vast majority read on or above grade level and those that need assitance are open-minded and readily accept interventions.
