Chaperones for Field Trips

Assisting teachers with field trips is an integral part of our volunteer program. Adequate adult supervision makes for a pleasant, safe learning experience for all.

Harvard dress code includes that appropriate attire which matches the activity is called for. Parents may not bring other family members and friends on any field trip.

Of course, all chapperones must apply first with the school office, prior to the day of the trip. Every volunteer at the school is subject to police background checks according to the HISD policy.

Teachers have the right to limit the number of chaperones. All adults riding the bus, must pay all bus fees and admission fees to events if necessary.
